Molecular Interface With The Time Environment

The essential argument of this hypothesis is the idea that there is a moving geometry of the 4th dimension and that consciousness is a directly result of our ability to interact with elements of that geometry.

It is also stated here that the CaMKII molecule/molecular family is the method whereby organisms ‘grasp’ the 4-D elements of the environment.

The α-CAMKII molecule provides a way to create a persistent interface with 4-D elements due to it’s structural similiarites with the 4-D geometry. This can be seen with both the moving and snapshot sculptures on the Understanding Time page.

This molecular complex is responsible for adhering to the 4-D geometry of the universe.

Let us also look at that one frame of that moving, 4-D sculpture along with one of the above.


The sculpture was created using a base 4 method, a cube, whereas our interface with Time environment is possibly base 6 Maths or higher, so we do not get a complete match here however it is clear that there are parallels between the two.

CaMKII is a Dodecamer protein. It is composed of 12 protein subunits. With CaMKII, we have two 6 subunit proteins atop another. This structure allows the CaMKII molecule to bind/trap to a part of the 4-D environment and be stable. These subunits are all kinases.

If you read the report referenced in base 6 Maths even they realize there is some sort of adhesion going on, though they postulate the microtubules themselves are like a hard-drive of conscious memory where bits and bytes can be stored/processed or something. It would be my contention the microtubules are there to help with stability within 3-D space with all the biochemical and electrical activity within and without cells.

If there are more microtubule structures or significantly different ones between say humans and worms/others then that would be one way to further examine the microtubule/memory hypothesis. Another possibility is the microtubules assist in adhering with the 4-D environment.

However we both agree that geometry is extremely important for CaMKII functioning in memory and thus conscious-mind functioning.


To live is to adhere. To grasp an apple in your hand, to walk a sandy shore in your bare feet.

If you could not adhere to the surface of the apple it would slip from your grasp falling to the ground uneaten and you dead if you cannot find sustenance to hold onto. If the sandy shore was frictionless you would go nowhere other than where your initial momentum brought you. And likely falling down, certainly not standing for long nor with much composure.

Without adhesion there is no place for life to take hold, no way for life to hold onto the environment to function.

When we grasp a fruit in our hand we are using both geometry and pressure. Geometry to cover and contain/envelope the object (apple) with another object (hand). We also use pressure to exert force on the apple, which has enough of its own internal integrity or cohesion to not collapse under the pressure we exert with our hand, to come along for the ride as it were.

CaMKII adheres to both the organism and the Time environment.

The geometry of the molecule makes it easy to integrate into 4-D allowing the molecule to adhere to both living, carbon-based life and the 4-D structure of the universe. The ‘shape’ of a normal 4-D environment is mimicked by the structural properties of CaMKII. CaMKII locks onto an element of the Time environment for as long as the complex can be stable.

When we look at the molecular image above, our old-evolved eyes see a single unit, a non-moving object. In truth that is not the case. In order for molecules to form from atoms they must first share electrons, or orbitals. Within molecules electrons move along the structure of the molecule. It is not a static object but a conglomeration of shared processes which exhibit enough coherence to form a single entity.

It is crucial for the molecule to also be moving in concert with 4-D mechanics just as it is crucial for the hand to be able to form into something shaped like an apple to grasp it for adhesion to occur. One has to be able to be contained by the other in some fashion via geometry to hold onto it.

Time, or the 4-D world is constantly moving, churning. There are no static particles, nothing that can be said to be ‘singular’, discrete, or unattached. Everything is moving constantly. That 4-D animated sculpture pretty much would be what could be considered a singularity or object in 4-D.

The 4-D world is made up of multiple instances of similar, constantly moving geometries, so an event object that CaMKII attaches to will also be connected to other Nodes or 4-D structures within the 4-D environment.

That is how consciousness arose on Earth.
